Between 2019 and 2020, Mouser Electronics has officially received over 20 top business awards from various manufacturer partners for exemplary distribution performance.
Manufacturers gave a variety of reasons for the awards, including best-in-class global logistics, digital excellence, double-digit sales growth, fastest new product introductions, commitment to teamwork, investment in inventory and breadth of inventory, successful marketing campaigns, customer growth, and expanding footprint.

Future Electronics President Robert Miller Congratulates Prague Office on Their 15th Anniversary
Future Electronics has just celebrated the 15th anniversary of the opening of the company’s Prague, Czech Republic branch.
First opened in 2005 and strategically located near the city center while having ample access to the main roads, the Prague office was designed to serve customers in both Czech Republic and Slovakia.

Digi-Key Electronics Announces Global Partnership with EAO Corporation for New Digital Product Selector Tool
Digi-Key Electronics has officially signed a global partnership with EAO to provide customers with a new Digital Product Selector (DPS) tool for emergency stop switches.
Designed to allow engineers and designers to easily configure products online to their specific needs, stop switch users will now be able to view 360-degree images, mounting depths, dimensional representations, illumination previews, and panel mounted views as well as download CAD drawings, launch installation videos, and certifications.

Avnet Announces New Interim CEO
Phil Gallagher, Global President of Avnet’s Electronic Components business, has been announced as the company’s interim CEO, replacing outgoing CEO William J. (“Bill”) Amelio who has given notice of his retirement.
“Phil has developed an incredible reputation within the company, as well as with our suppliers, customers and investors,” said Rodney C. Adkins, Chairman of the Board, according to EPS News. “The Board of Directors is thrilled that his steady and will help guide the company and our important relationships to even greater success.”
For over 30 years, Gallagher has worked at Avnet and has held executive leadership positions in sales, marketing, and operations. Recently, he was the Global President of Avnet’s Electronic Components business, as well as President of the National Electronic Distributors Association. He also serves on the advisory board of the Women in Electronics Community.
“I want to thank Bill for his passion while leading Avnet over the past four years,” said Gallagher. “We continue to believe Avnet has a solid foundation from which to grow, with valuable assets, talented employees, and end markets where we see many attractive opportunities.
