Mouser Electronics Releases Latest Empowering Innovation Together Series

By Logan Wamsley

The first video from Mouser Electronics’ long-running web series has finally arrived.

Started in 2015, Mouser’s Empowering Innovation Together™ program has become renowned across the electronic component industry for its nuanced, thoughtful look into how revolutionary technologies are changing the lives of millions across the globe.

This year, the series will tackle one of the most fascinating technological trends of all: robotics.

Called Generation Robot, celebrity engineer Grant Imahara embarks on a journey that stretches from the Georgia Tech’s Institute of Robotics and Intelligent Machines to locales in Germany, Japan, South Korea, and Hong Kong. Throughout, he will strive to shed light on just how robotics will be in shaping our future from both a technological and sociological perspective, separating fact and theory from science fiction while showing first-hand how some recent advancements are already being implemented in real-world settings.

In the process, Mouser — along with their long-time suppliers Analog Devices, Intel©, Microchip Technology, and Molex — also hopes to also reach fellow innovators across the world who share their vision.

“Innovation is the heart of technological advancement, and that sense of innovation is alive in the minds of the engineers advancing robotics,” said Mouser Electronics CEO in a press release. “It will be exciting to watch how these companies and talented engineers will bring the next life-saving and humanity-benefitting robots to market.”
